Panovu (“we”, “the app”) is a media player that lets you watch your own IPTV service. This policy explains what we process and why.

What Panovu is

Panovu does not provide, host, or sell any channels, streams, or media. You connect your own IPTV service — an Xtream Codes account or an M3U/M3U8 playlist. The content you watch comes from your provider, not from us, and is governed by your provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Information we process

• Account (optional cloud sync): if you create a Panovu cloud account, we store your email address and authentication data to sign you in and sync your data across devices. Authentication is handled by Supabase.
• Provider details: the IPTV server URLs, usernames, passwords and/or M3U playlist URLs you add. These are stored on your device and, if you enable cloud sync, uploaded to our backend encrypted so they can sync to your other devices.
• Your library data: favorites, favorite folders, and watch history / playback progress — stored on device and synced if you sign in.
• Diagnostics & usage: crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) and aggregate usage/analytics (Firebase Analytics), including device model, OS version, app version, and a device/installation identifier, to fix bugs and improve the app.

We do not collect your name, contacts, location, photos, or the specific media titles you watch beyond your own on-device watch history.

How we use it

To provide sign-in and cross-device sync, to operate core features (favorites, history, resume), and to diagnose crashes and improve stability. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Where it’s stored / who processes it

• Supabase (database + auth) — hosts your account and synced data. Region: EU (eu-west-1).
• Google Firebase (Analytics + Crashlytics) — diagnostics/usage.

Each operates under its own privacy terms.

Data retention & deletion

Local data is removed when you sign out / clear data or uninstall. To delete your cloud account and synced data, sign out (which can wipe local providers) or contact us at panovu.support@gmail.com to request deletion of your account and associated data.

Children

Panovu is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
